The research aims to determine the application of plea bargaining or the defendant's admission of guilt as a reform of criminal procedural law in Indonesia. Using a normative juridical method will compare the laws of one country with another, along with existing norms. The concept of the defendant's admission of guilt as the basis for the judge's consideration of imposing criminal sanctions for corruption provides fresh air that the law must create a judicial process that is simple, fast and low cost. The birth of the concept of plea bargaining, which is currently included in the Draft Criminal Code, is expected to solve the problem of the complexity of the judicial process and the costs that must still be incurred when taking the judicial route.
