Developing Nearpod E-Media Through Model Discovery to Improve Learning Independence for Elementary School Students

Abstract

This development research aims to prioritize and develop Nearpod E-Media through Model Discovery to increase the learning independence of fifth grade elementary school students. Collecting data using observation techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis in this study is the validation of the E-Media Nearpod product and the t test and N-gain test to measure the effectiveness of the product in increasing learning independence. From the validation results by material expert validators, a score of 85% was obtained in the very feasible category, while media experts obtained a score of 84% in the very feasible category. E-Media Nearpod through Model Discovery was applied to the experimental class which opened 57 fifth grade elementary school students in the Jatiharjo Village area, Grobogan Regency. The results of the product effectiveness test, obtained the N-gain criterion of 0.32, while the use of Nearpod E media through the Discovery Model is effective in increasing student learning independence. It is concluded that the research on the development of Nearpod E-media through the Discovery Model in learning is very feasible and effective in increasing student learning independence.
